Something in the way you write

you know how movies tell us to "be you" and always 'be yourself?' well, it's hard to do that, when everyone around you is out there being somebody else. you ask yourself, "who am I?" "what do people expect me to be?" The answer is simple you see. From the time you wake up to the time you're on your feet, you're you. From the time you eat breakfast and brush your teeth, you're you. From the time you get ready to do your day's work from nine to five, you're you. From the time you spend with your loved ones and people you can call 'mine', you're still you. Only you know who you are and who you're meant to be. So don't let other people think you differently. Have you ever wondered about death ? about dying? about how no one really knows how long they have until they hit the bucket?  I'm sure all of us have thought about it in some way. We all know that death is inevitable. We know we have a limited time here,on this earth. My biggest fear is that I might not get to say the things I want to say to someone if they die, and also that death will be painful. I don't want to die a painful death. No one does. I know that this a somber topic, but I had been thinking about death, and how we only have one life to do the things we want recently. Partly more so after reading a novel about it. It wasn't of death per say, but the character dies in the start and throughout the book she relives the same day she died over and over again  till she decides that her day is going to be different. wow! the year 2016 was one hell of an adventure! an adventure that I enjoyed thoroughly and got through with scrapes and scratches but I still got through. the year 2016 saw many ups and downs I must admit. But we always remember the best things don't we? first of all, the most amazing thing that ever happened was that I got to travel to Singapore with my family for the summer. And mind you, the experience was one of a kind. I literally loved every minute that we spent in Singapore going for tours, exploring, sightseeing and so many beautiful things that I never even imagined existed until I actually saw it. In April we had our C.A.P.S(communication and public speaking) convocation. That is, we passed with flying colors.And my speech on 'U2 - a rock sensation' was well received.
