Out with the old and in with the new

wow! the year 2016 was one hell of an adventure! an adventure that I enjoyed thoroughly and got through with scrapes and scratches but I still got through. the year 2016 saw many ups and downs I must admit. But we always remember the best things don't we? first of all, the most amazing thing that ever happened was that I got to travel to Singapore with my family for the summer. And mind you, the experience was one of a kind. I literally loved every minute that we spent in Singapore going for tours, exploring, sightseeing and so many beautiful things that I never even imagined existed until I actually saw it. In April we had our C.A.P.S(communication and public speaking) convocation. That is, we passed with flying colors.And my speech on 'U2 - a rock sensation' was well received. July, I started my 12th std, in September I along with my twin sister turned eighteen. A big part of our lives indeed. I got my Hogwarts letter seven years late! but better late than never right? thanks to our friend Delia (potterhead). I got my first ukulele from amazon. A "makala" surf green ukulele, love at first sight, a sight for sore eyes, and a tune that makes you feel at peace with yourself and the world. I even taught myself to play it, my first song being,'you are my sunshine.' MY ukulele is one of the few important things I cherish. I became more active in songwriting. The first time I wrote a song was when I was thirteen and that song turned out to be something I never expected- a rap song and a good one indeed.
 Recently I began writing more songs and putting tunes to them. I wrote a couple of songs that I'm proud of. who wouldn't be? writing songs are awesome! makes you feel cool. I had some pretty amazing little adventures with my best friend Neona going to vagator, me and her on her Vespa- a day to remember forever and many things like meeting some fillipinos from Abu- Dhabi, Edguardo specially. Writing an poem for my friend Jason's 30th birthday and seeing his expression when reading it, getting to know Justin and Tejal well, some good friends I came to know this year, getting to go for the Westphalian German symphony youth Orchestra and being completely blown away by the amazing performance which got a standing ovation, getting to usher for the annual day, getting my bangs on a tiny whim which looked sexy! and getting really good compliments on it!, meeting and making friends with more new people in my school, Christmas day with the family opening presents, and enjoying with them, going for 'Fantastic beasts and where to find them' - most anticipated movie of 2016, New years day with the family at Mariotts and having a freaking good time as we danced and celebrated and ushered the new year in. That was 2016 for me in a nutshell. I am so, so grateful for everything that happened this year and all the lovely people in my life. 2017 is going to be another adventure guys! are you ready?

I watched this documentary one day.. The next morning I saw everything around me not in the same way. It was a documentary on climate change. It made me realize our earth is precious and everything in it, from the trees to the seas to the crops growing in the fields. From the glaciers of the icy mountains, To the wonderful fountains. From the fish in the sea and coral reefs, to the water we waste when Others have no water to taste. The animals too are a vital part, not something that can be turned into a piece of art. All this is fading away each day, because we humans are worse than animals so to say. Maybe we cannot do great things to save our earth, but we can try in our own small way, hoping that our great great grandchildren could see some part of our beautiful earth one day. ( well, what's left of it anyway) What we do to our environment is for us to choose. Because the planet and everything we love and cherish is ours to lose.

Who is a woman? I was actually inspired to write this poem by some pretty amazing women, thanks to my sociology assignment I was working on. I even submitted it to print in our school magazine. So, I hope you love it as much as I do. here goes, Enjoy! A woman is someone who is born in this world the same way as a man. A woman is someone who is capable of doing things anyone else can. A woman's ability is not prioritized only to housework, nursing or giving birth. A woman is born equal to a man on this earth. But a woman is not treated equally. She is treated inferior, even to a cow. That's what our country has come to, God knows how. A woman is someone who is smart, beautiful,strong and even fun. If you haven't met a woman like that, then you haven't met one. Being a man, probably has its disadvantages too. But being a woman we have, let's face it, more disadvantages than you. So let's stop this now and treat everyone in the same way they deserve...

Ruby rose - my lady crush!

Okay, so lady crushes! What can I say about That? Well, you know what? all I can say is that everybody, whether a girl or boy, woman or man will have a crush or be a little attracted to the same Sex. We all go through it, part of growing up right? Or is it just Me?  Anyway, I'm proud to say I have a lady crush. And not just any lady. Freaking Ruby rose. Her body and face and beautiful tattoos just shout, " sexy attractive human being!" and I completely agree. A hundred percent. She is really sexy and attractive and I'm not attracted to girls, but I'm attracted to Ruby apparently. Can't explain why. I just do. Is it her sexy Australian accent? Her dozens of tattoos?  Which I admire on any person that has one. I don't know. All I know is,  if I were a lesbian,  I'd definitely date Ruby.
